Responsibilities
Arcfield is currently seeking a skilled and motivated full‑time Computer Engineer to support on‑site at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC). You will support the Code 34 Radar In‑Service Engineering Agency (ISEA) Team. Tasking will include analysis, design and capability enhancements, testing support, and in‑service support for new and fielded radar systems.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues at both NUWC lab and within the fleet.
- Analysis for and development of Engineering Change Instructions and Engineering Change Proposals.
- Perform gap, fault/failure, and performance analyses.
- Document and present trade studies.
- Investigate capabilities and applicability of unique testing environments to support required testing objectives.
- Perform impact analysis of testing on related systems/subsystems.
- Perform and/or support factory acceptance testing.
- Develop program status reports such as technical assessments, risk assessments, technical recommendations or technical information.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or computer science.
- BS and 0–2 years experience.
- Technical writing and presentation skills required along with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with process improvement methods, practices, and procedures (i.e., CMMI) is a plus.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Understanding DoD engineering design practices is a plus.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a secret level security clearance. Active or very recent security clearances are a plus.
- Must be able to travel 10% of the time.
- Be able to work hands‑on with hardware components and software.
Compensation
Min: $56,645.82 Max: $98,496.09
