Computer Engineer IIODME Solutions is seeking a Computer Engineer II to support the Intelligence Carry-On Program (ICOP) East under the CDL ISR ISEA contract at NIWC LANT. The selected candidate will provide hands-on technical engineering support for shipboard intelligence systems across the East Coast fleet, including installation, sustainment, configuration management, and direct fleet support. This position requires on-site presence and periodic ship-based operations and is not eligible for remote or hybrid work.Core Responsibilities:Provide technical engineering support for ICOP systems including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and sustainment aboard U.S.
Navy vesselsOperate HACSIM in support of system testing, validation, and fleet support activitiesExecute Casualty Report (CASREP) response efforts, both remote and on-site, to restore mission-critical capabilitiesSupport system integration, acceptance testing, and configuration management in accordance with applicable technical documentation and standardsCoordinate directly with ship crews, government IPT leads, and program stakeholders during on-site support eventsPrepare and submit required documentation including Daily Status Reports and trip reports within established timelinesMaintain applicable certifications and access credentials in support of SIPR and shipboard operationsTravel to CONUS and OCONUS locations in support of fleet activities as requiredRequired Qualifications:7 years of experience in computer engineering, systems engineering, or a related technical disciplineActive Secret clearance (must be current and transferable)CompTIA Security+ certification (current)CompTIA Linux+ certification (current)Demonstrated proficiency operating HACSIMExperience supporting U.S. Navy shipboard systems or fleet operationsAbility to work on-site in a SIPR environment and aboard U.S. Navy vesselsWillingness and availability to travel as required by mission requirementsPreferred Qualifications:Familiarity with CANES architecture and operationsPrior experience supporting ICOP, TCDL, NTCDL, or CDLS programsExperience with configuration management documentation and technical reporting in a DoD environmentPrior NIWC LANT or NIWC PACIFIC program support experienceWork Conditions:This position involves work aboard U.S.
Navy vessels and in secure government facilities. The candidate must be physically able to meet shipboard access requirements, including working in confined spaces and climbing ladders. PPE and safety compliance are mandatory.
