Computer Engineer

About the Role

We're seeking a Computer Engineer to support a high-impact client mission in the Chantilly, VA area. This role blends embedded software development, machine learning/data engineering, and low-level systems work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. You'll collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team while independently owning tasks from concept to delivery.

What You'll Do

• Collect, organize, and analyze technical information from multiple sources to support quick-turn mission tasks
• Design and implement machine learning and data engineering solutions for advanced science & technology applications
• Develop in C/C++ to support critical mission systems
• Apply modern compiled languages (Go, Rust) to embedded development
• Build for real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded platforms
• Analyze compiled custom operating systems, applying reverse engineering principles
• Independently propose, develop, and execute creative technical solutions
• Deliver polished, well-documented work products requiring minimal revision
• Manage deadlines and expectations in an agile, fast-moving setting
• Communicate effectively with co-located and distributed team members

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field + 3 years of experience; OR Master's + 1 year; OR Ph.D.; or equivalent combination of education/experience
• Strong embedded software development experience in C/C++
• Experience with, or strong interest in, Go or Rust
• Background supporting national security, defense, and/or intelligence community missions
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
