Computer AssemblerWe are seeking a skilled Computer Assembler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling computer components and ensuring that they function properly. Using assorted hand and power tools, you will assemble and test basic and complex electro-mechanical subassemblies, computer chassis and computer systems.
Must be able to follow various drawings, blueprints and written or oral instructions. The ideal candidate will have experience in computer assembly and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesAssemble computer components according to specificationsUses tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, crimpers, power drivers, soldering irons, drills, taps, tests, and other hand/bench equipment.Under limited supervision works from assembly procedures, prints, verbal and written instructions to build computers, subassemblies, cable harness, and complete computer systemsCommunicates ideas that help improve the process, quality, product or work conditionsMaintains a clean and organized work areaOther duties as assignedRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentMinimum 1 year directly related experience, 2+ experience preferredProven experience in computer assemblyKnowledge of computer hardware and software componentsAbility to read and interpret technical manuals and schematicsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentGood communication and interpersonal skillsAvailable to work Monday to Friday 7AM to 3:30PMIf you are a skilled Computer Assembler with a passion for technology and a desire to work in a dynamic team environment, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.About Core SystemsCore Systems is a premier manufacturer of best-in-class rugged computers and rugged displays.
