Additionally, we are dedicated to the growth and development of our employees, providing opportunities for advancement and professional growth.Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Drafter to support electronic warfare (EW) and radar systems engineering efforts.

The selected candidate will create and maintain detailed drawings and models, with anticipated tasking centered on developing drawings for SPY-1 test fixtures, in support of the systems engineering design and configuration management process.Essential FunctionsCreate and modify detailed models and drawings using CREO, SolidWorks, and SolidEdgeWork closely with customers, engineers, senior technicians, and drafters to capture drawing/model requirementsPrepare drawings in support of the systems engineering process for preliminary and critical design reviews, which may include physical schematics, flow diagrams, and electrical wiringAssemble Technical Data Packages (TDPs) and maintain configuration management of drawings, including revision tracking and change documentation consistent with CCB/ECP processesUtilize knowledge related to drawing format, views, and tolerances to ensure viewer understanding and realizable, cost-effective manufacturingPerform a variety of moderate and complex tasks using tools such as calipers, gauge tools, tape measures, and other mechanical devices to aid in design development and verification/validation of first article piecesSupport design review preparation by ensuring drawings and models are accurate, complete, and ready for engineering reviewExperience and SkillsTechnical School degree in Drafting, Illustrating, or Graphic ArtsMinimum of 5 years of experience in drafting/CAD; experience creating and modifying military drawings preferredStrong working knowledge of CREO, SolidEdge, SolidWorks, or ProEFamiliarity with ASME Y14.100 – Engineering Drawing Practices, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), Technical Data Packages, and military drawing standards (desired)Hands-on mechanical/electro-mechanical knowledge and aptitude, with an understanding of currently accepted manufacturing processes and ISO procedures, requiredProficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and VisioKnowledge of proper English grammar, spelling, capitalization, and punctuation rules to identify errors and make corrections as encounteredExcellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills to work with clients, team members, and management staff, including DoD civilian, uniformed military, and contractor personnelDesired QualificationsFamiliarity with military drawing standards and technical data packagesFlexibility to adapt to dynamic project requirements and deadlinesStrong analytical problem-solving skills with high attention to detailOrganized and process-oriented mindsetTravel: Minimal.Benefits: Comprehensive health benefits, including life, health, dental, vision, short-term disability (STD), and long-term disability (LTD) coverage for eligible employees and family members. 401(K) Plan with company match. 12 paid holidays.
