Computed Tomography (CT) TechnologistA Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist is a CT professional that is qualified by professional credentialing: academic and clinical experience to provide diagnostic patient care services using CT and related diagnostic CT procedures. The scope of practice of the CT Technologist includes those procedures, acts and processes permitted by law, for which the individual has received education and clinical experience, has demonstrated competency, and has completed the appropriate ARRT (R),(CT) registry(s) which is the standard of practice in Radiology.Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide services appropriate to the age, disease process, cultural and spiritual needs of the patient.Minimum RequirementsAmerican Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) CertificationCurrent R.T.
