Computed Tomography (CT Tech)Shift:Monday - Thursday 7:30 pm - 6:00 am (1 position)Monday - Friday 4:30 pm - 1:00 am (1 position)Job Responsibilities:The Computed Tomography (C.T.) technologist is a highly skilled professional who uses specialized computerized X-ray equipment to produce cross-sectional images of the human anatomy which aid radiologists in diagnosing a wide variety of diseases and disorders.Qualifications:American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R) and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (CT)Medical Radiologic Technologists (MRT) state licensureBasic Life Support (BLS) required1 year of recent acute care experience as a CT Tech preferredAdditional Information:The CT tech would be working on Client scanners. We use Meditech and Client PACS for charging and verifying exams. During the 16-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, there is a fairly wide range of how many exams can be done between those hours, but it is roughly 50-60 exams (not patients).
One patient can have 3 or 4 exams ordered on them at one time.
