Want to teach AI how to do science?
We’re partnering with one of the fastest-growing companies at the intersection of AI and biology. They build AI agents and benchmarks for biological research, already used by the world’s leading frontier AI labs and a community of over 100,000 scientists.
Headcount has grown roughly tenfold this year, and they’re now hiring a large cohort of AI Biologists before the end of Q4.
This is a rare moment: your work here will shape how the most advanced AI models reason about biology.
The role
You’ll turn your hands-on scientific expertise into ground truth. Working alongside software engineers and fellow scientists, you’ll build benchmark datasets from real discovery and research programmes that test whether AI agents can make the decisions a skilled scientist would. Where do they get it right, where do they fail, and why?
Teams are hiring across:
- Biologics and antibody/protein engineering
- Oligonucleotide and RNA therapeutics
- Protein function and design
- Human genetics and variant analysis
- Metagenomics and microbiome
- Biosecurity and dual-use risk
What they’re looking for
- MSc or PhD in biology, bioinformatics, genetics, microbiology or a related field
- 2 to 5+ years of hands-on research or industry experience in one of the areas above
- Confident in Python and/or R for data analysis
- High agency: you like owning problems end to end and moving fast
