Apply today!Compounder Responsibilities:Maintain strong communication with supervisor for daily activitiesKnow and follow safety procedures related to Hazcom, ergonomics, safe lifting, PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) requirements, etc.Handle hot materials and transfer into various containersFill out paperwork correctly and make notes for correct errorsFollow the plan and prioritize materials movement using drum lift or loading equipment (electronic pallet jack or forklift stacker)Complete electronic material transactions with RF scannerReview daily transactions in NAV (ERP) for accuracyReview and complete all steps in a work order or recipeWeight and add ingredients to a batchVerify and label containers accurately - item number, lot number, date of expiration, etc.Complete flux pump tank cleaning and sanitizing following work instructions and record status in cleaning log.Follow first expiry and first out (FEFO) to use old inventory firstFollow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) for the compounding departmentLoad materials into oven and record in a logPerform daily calibration and proper scale useFollow work instructions for tank cleaning and sanitizingFollow master cleaning schedule and document daily cleaning tasksLoad and unload dishwasher; and follow work instructions for dishwasherFill, maintain and operate floor scrubberProperly label drums by removing old labels, matching item and lot number, and placing label on drumsRequirements for Compounder:- At least one year of experience in a similar environment - Able to work in a fast-paced environment - Good communication skills - Basic math skills - Able to lift up to 75lbsQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
