Onsite Full Time Quality Engineering

Key responsibilities

  • Developing and tracking Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) metrics
  • Performing Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
  • Designing and executing reliability tests
  • Conducting failure analysis (RCA)
  • Driving continuous product and process improvement in collaboration with suppliers and Meta's internal cross-functional teams
  • Establishing in-house testing capabilities
  • Generating detailed reports
  • Coordinating and managing global suppliers on manufacturing processes and mass production readiness

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Sciences and Engineering, and/or related field 8+ years of experience in the development and validation of optical communication components such as lasers, transmitters, receivers, and transceivers
  • 5+ years of experience in high-speed optical and electrical test and measurement equipment, control, data acquisition and test automation
  • Programming skills in one or more of the following: Python or MATLAB
  • Experience with optical integration, including InP PICs, Silicon-photonic PICs, PIC-IC integration, and 3D optical/silicon packaging technologies
  • Experience with advanced modulation formats, direct detect and coherent systems (e.g., NRZ, PAM-4, QPSK, 8-QAM, 16QAM)
  • Experience in high-speed optical and electrical test (both component and system level) and test automation
  • Experience in creating or influencing product reliability test strategies and methodologies
