Compliance Analyst
Location: Austin, TX or Sunnyvale, CA
Duration: Long term contract
Skills: Information management & Security, Unix Shell scripting, Networking & communication protocols, Python.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze the effectiveness of firewall rules, router configurations and host based firewalls.
- Summarize test results at the conclusion of testing, communicate control deficiencies and provide recommendations for remediation.
- Manage the lifecycle of user authentication: Review, approve and provision tokens for user authentication.
- Enable locked user accounts. Perform periodic audits of users and groups in the authentication system.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Management of Information Systems, computer science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking, routers, firewalls, IP addressing and ACL administration.
- Minimum three (3) years' work experience, preferably in one or more of these areas; internet security, auditing, control assessment, PCI DSS, IS/IT auditing, IS/IT policy development, risk assessments or federal regulatory compliance for information protection.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated attention to detail.
- Results oriented: ability to collaborate with different individuals across the organization and within other geographies in order to overcome obstacles and accomplish all necessary tasks.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
