Quality Control Mortgage Underwriter
Please be aware this position will be based on work that is available. There is the potential to work 15 hours a week or more depending upon client need. Hours will vary. This position has the potential to go permanent if the candidate is the right fit.
Responsibilities:
- Complete QC audits
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge of Agency underwriting guidelines, DU and LP
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of Compliance requirements (Truth in Lending, RESPA, HMDA, ECOA)
- Knowledge of mortgage documentation
- Knowledge of document red flags and fraud indicators
Qualifications:
- Possess broad scope of underwriting knowledge and skills
- Minimum of 5 years of front-line underwriting experience
- Strong analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
