About the Role
The firm's litigation practice is known for its strategic advocacy, practical problem-solving, and business-minded approach. The team represents clients in complex commercial disputes from pretrial through appeal, collaborating across practice areas to achieve efficient and effective results.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle complex litigation matters from inception through resolution, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, motions, briefs, and other pleadings.
- Oversee document production and manage discovery processes.
- Collaborate closely with team members and clients to advance litigation strategy.
- Contribute to thought leadership initiatives through writing, speaking engagements, and client development activities.
- Participate in in-office collaboration approximately 60% of the time, per firm guidelines.
- JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Admission (or eligibility for admission) to the New York Bar.
- Minimum of 4 years of complex litigation experience.
- Judicial clerkship experience is preferred but not required.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Team-oriented and professional in all client interactions.
- Base salary range: $310,000 - $365,000
- Annual bonus eligibility.
