Compensation Benefits Analyst

Anticipated duration: October 2026- July 2027

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am-5pm

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and validate monthly employee and compensation data within labor mix models.
• Update labor mix reports using month-end fiscal data.
• Analyze workforce composition, salary levels, headcount changes, and compensation trends across business units.
• Identify variances, trends, and opportunities within labor cost and workforce data.
• Prepare accurate reports and dashboards to support workforce planning and compensation decisions.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across multiple reporting tools and systems.
• Take ownership of existing Microsoft Excel workbooks and understand underlying data sources, formulas, and calculations.
• Troubleshoot, improve, and enhance existing labor mix models and reporting processes.
• Partner with Finance, HR, Compensation, and business leaders to provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
• Assist in the ongoing development and evolution of labor mix reporting tools and methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Human Resources, Economics, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in workforce analytics, compensation analysis, financial analysis, HR reporting, or a related analytical role.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including:
• Pivot Tables
• VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
• Index/Match
• Complex formulas and data validation
• Data analysis and reporting
• Experience managing and maintaining complex spreadsheets and data models.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends and variances.
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly to stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
