A Compassion Companion (CC) provides the priceless gift of companionship to hospice patients by visiting them in their homes or care facilities.
Through conversation, reading, playing games, listening to life stories, or simply sharing quiet moments together, they help bring comfort, connection, and joy while reminding patients and families that they are never alone.
No special skills are required--just a caring heart and a willingness to be present.
Volunteer opportunities are available throughout San Diego County, with patient assignments made based on your preferred location whenever possible!
