To support a remote Utilization Management team, the part-time Compact Licensed Practical Nurse will perform telephonic clinical reviews, apply evidence-based criteria, and ensure timely communication with providers and members, working 20-25 hours per week during daytime hours with no weekends or holidays. Key responsibilities Receive and review requests for medical services, obtaining necessary clinical information for initial reviews Apply approved evidence-based clinical criteria to support review determinations and refer cases as needed Document all clinical reviews and communications accurately in the electronic medical management system Required qualifications Active, unrestricted Compact Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license Minimum of one (1) year of recent direct patient care experience in a hospital or acute care setting Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Ability to work independently in a remote environment Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and data entry
