Employment Opportunities Development

Responsible for the development of employment opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Education/Experience

A.A. in a related field or 3 years' experience providing employment or counseling services to individuals with disabilities required. B.A. in a related field preferred.

Job Tasks

1. Assist in development of a program employment plan
2. Engage in active job seeking to obtain employment for members
3. Train and assist members in self-marketing to prospective employers
4. Ensure compliance with obligations to and requirements for funding sources
5. Engage in comprehensive job coaching
6. Perform routine maintenance of employment contacts
7. Maintain an acceptable level of member job placements
8. Provide member case-management services
9. Maintain appropriate staff/member interactions
10. Engage in the Agency's Periodic Service Review (PSR) and other quality assurance programs
11. Ensure compliance with all licensing and accreditation standards
12. Cooperate with Agency and DDD/DCP&P staff in any inspection or investigation

1. Ensure compliance with wearing a mask when mandated by State, Federal, and Licensing authorities during a public health crisis/pandemic.
2. All other duties as assigned

Shift

Varies throughout the week. Evenings and weekends required as necessary.
