Role Summary

Community Outreach Captains help build relationships with local Atlanta businesses that care about community wellness, arts, and food access. This role is perfect for outgoing people who enjoy connecting with others and want to help WLF grow its network of supporters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contact 10 local businesses per month (email, phone, or in‑person)
  • Share WLF’s mission, impact, and sponsorship opportunities
  • Request small donations, gift cards, or in‑kind support
  • Track outreach efforts and responses
  • Coordinate with WLF staff on follow‑ups
  • Represent WLF with professionalism and warmth

Qualifications

  • Comfortable talking to people or sending outreach messages
  • Organized and able to track simple outreach lists
  • Passion for community building and local partnerships
  • Experience in customer service, sales, or outreach is helpful but not required
