Community Outreach Callers help connect people with upcoming blood drives in their area. By reaching out directly to invite potential blood donors to a drive, you play a key role in keeping our blood supply strong and our drives well-attended.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound phone calls to community members to share information about upcoming blood drives
- Answer basic questions and help people sign up for available appointment times
- Track call outcomes using provided tools or call sheets
- Represent Memorial Blood Centers in a friendly, professional manner
- Flag questions or concerns you’re unable to answer to staff for follow-up
What We’re Looking For
- A friendly, confident phone presence
- Dependability
- Comfort using a phone and simple tracking tools (training provided)
- Completion of a background check is required (provided at no cost to you)
Time Commitment
- Shifts are designed to be 2 hours long, but can be customizable
- This role can be done from our office or remotely from home
- We ask volunteers to commit to one shift per week
Training and Support
You’ll receive orientation, training, a call script, and ongoing support from staff.
