To support the growth of a robust base of remote Black domestic workers, the Temporary National Organizer will engage in full-time remote work focused on building leadership, developing skills, and elevating the voices of domestic workers while collaborating with the We Dream in Black Director. Key responsibilities Grow a base of domestic workers, particularly in the home care industry, to lead movements for economic and democratic change Build leadership and enhance the skill set of emerging leaders to address issues faced by domestic workers Engage and deepen connections with home care workers to foster community and elevate their demands for recognition and protection Required qualifications Experience in community organizing or grassroots movements Knowledge of the domestic worker industry, particularly home care Ability to facilitate programs and support leadership development initiatives Proficiency in data tracking and reporting systems Strong commitment to uplifting the voices of Black domestic workers
