Community Organizer

Building power with trans communities across the country, the full-time National Organizer will develop leadership, strengthen local organizing efforts, and advance campaigns focused on racial, gender, and HIV justice, working remotely or from TLC's offices in Oakland or Brooklyn. Key Responsibilities Lead national organizing efforts and co-coordinate advocacy campaigns in priority states Build and steward relationships with coalition partners and community organizations Plan and facilitate regional convenings and national training institutes to develop community leadership Required Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in national organizing work Demonstrated experience in relationship-building and community organizing Experience planning and facilitating trainings using popular education techniques Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple timelines and deliverables Demonstrated commitment to racial, gender, and HIV justice
