Job Summary:
This position will assist the Community Service Manager with all day-to-day operations of the Adult Day Training program.
Summary of Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for creating and leading person-centered and interactive activities both onsite and in community settings for participants who attend our ADT Program
- Responsible for required ADT documentation and monitoring as designated by the Community Services Manager
- Responsible for ensuring that ADT activities promote independence and growth per the participants chosen goals
- Assist in participant personal care needs, such as assistance with eating and personal hygiene
- Participate in required training sessions and morning meetings as designated by the Community Service Manager
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma, or GED
- Personal Vehicle, Valid Driver's License and Current Auto Insurance
- Physically able to assist in lifting people up to 250 pounds, as well as able to assist in the mobility of wheelchairs containing people up to 250 pounds
- Must show an ability to demonstrate patience and respect for those we serve as well as co-workers and management staff
- Ability to provide accurate and timely documentation
- Ability to maintain and demonstrate adherence to all driving safety requirements as outlined by the State of Kentucky
- Must possess the ability to work well with minimum supervision
