About the Opportunity:
We are assembling a volunteer team to help plan and execute the virtual book launch for The Untold Story by Sabrina Sanford, a bold historical fiction novel set in 5th-century Britain that reimagines Arthurian legend through the eyes of a woman who refuses to be erased from the narrative. We are looking for an enthusiastic Community Engagement Volunteer to manage the attendee experience from registration through to post-event follow-up.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the event registration process and attendee communications
- Send pre-event reminders and day-of instructions to registered attendees
- Facilitate the Q&A session during the live event
- Engage with attendees in the event chat during the launch
- Send post-event follow-up communications including replay access and calls to action
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong written communication skills and a warm, engaging personality
- Experience with email communications, community management, or customer service
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced live event environment
- Detail-oriented and reliable
- Passion for books, storytelling, and building community around literature
