To fulfill our commitment to our employee's health and safety, Becker has committees such as the Mental Health and Wellness Committee that ensures our employee's individual health is always a priority.We provide every incoming employee with individualized training to ensure that they are experts on Becker's use of above-industry-standard software and in their role.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze community association legal issues and draft legal opinionsInterpret and draft amendments to governing documentsEnforce governing documents through litigation and dispute resolutionPrepare for and attend board and membership meetingsMaintain strong client relations and provide strategic legal counselConduct detailed case law and legal researchPrepare and draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and memoranda of lawReview and modify service contracts and vendor agreementsParticipate in and prepare for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trialsReview documents using electronic review platforms and document management systemsRequired QualificationsActive membership in the Florida Bar2–4 years of legal experience, with direct experience in community association litigation preferredDemonstrated experience in business litigationExcellent skills in legal research, drafting, and oral advocacyStrong client relations and communication skillsProficiency in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint; experience with Summation and iManage is a plusExperience conducting significant document review via electronic platformsPreferred ExperienceFamiliarity with community association governance structuresAttendance at association board and membership meetingsExperience interpreting and enforcing declarations, bylaws, and covenantsReplies are given within 24 hours, so apply today for immediate consideration.Equal Employment OpportunityBecker is committed to diversity in the workplace.
