Communications Internship - Creative Content***Accepting applications for Fall 2026***Job Summary: The Creative Content Intern will support the Communications Team in generating and editing multilingual digital content, including flyers, infographics, website updates, reels, and other creative assets. This role is essential in communicating La Casita Center's diverse programs and services to the community. The intern will support the organization in maintaining consistent branding across departments and enhancing its overall online presence and strategy.Reports to: This position works in collaboration with all members of the communication team and reports to the Marketing and Branding Specialist.Required skills for the project:Community-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively in teamsStrong social media management and content editing skillsExcellent written communication skillsProficiency with CanvaWorking knowledge of Google Drive toolsAbility to manage multiple campaigns simultaneouslyPreferable qualifications but not required:Spanish Language Fluency (Fluent or Native Speaker proficiency)Basic photography and video/audio production skillsExperience with Adobe Creative CloudGraphic design experienceEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Social MediaSupport the Communications Team with social media campaigns, including online fundraising initiativesMonitor new and emerging trends to ensure La Casita Center's social media presence remains relevant and engagingReview social media channels biweekly to facilitate positive engagement and identify any activity requiring organizational attentionContent DevelopmentSupport the development of creative multilingual content, including flyers, reels, and other assets for print and social mediaAssist the team in maintaining brand consistency by supporting the creation of presentations and other outreach materialsAssist in developing La Casita Center branding for specific programming, including but not limited to program logos and color schemesAssist in keeping the website current with accurate and timely contentProvide event coverage by taking photos and videos during La Casita Center eventsSupport the organization and labeling of the digital photo galleryAdministrative and outreachAttend weekly communications meetingsAttend routine check-in meetings with the support supervisorSupport the Outreach Team by attending community eventsAssist the Outreach Team with reporting dutiesOtherSupport the team with additional tasks as neededLa Casita is committed to supporting students in exploring new areas of interest.
