This role supervises technicians, supports installations, and ensures reliable service delivery for satellite, LTE, networking, and remote monitoring systems.This is a hands-on leadership role that combines technical expertise with team oversight. You will work directly in the field, solve complex issues, and play a key part in delivering high-quality communication solutions in remote environments.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support communications technicians across multiple job sitesOversee installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of communications systemsDispatch technicians and coordinate daily field activitiesProvide hands-on support for rig-ups, rig-downs, and system movesTroubleshoot satellite, LTE, networking, and camera systemsSupport customers with technical issues and service needsCoordinate with internal teams including Housing and Power GenerationMaintain equipment, inventory, and vendor relationshipsAssist with development and deployment of new technologiesEnsure compliance with safety standards and company policiesTrack technician hours, performance, and operational reportingTravel and Work EnvironmentTravel required across Montana, North Dakota, and surrounding areasOvernight travel expected based on project needsOutdoor work in all weather conditionsPhysically active role including lifting, climbing, and extended standingExperience4+ years in communications, telecom, or networking field rolesLeadership or supervisor experience preferredTechnical SkillsExperience with networking, LTE, or satellite systemsCable installation and termination (RJ-45, coaxial)Ability to troubleshoot field connectivity systemsExperience with cameras or monitoring systems is an assetPreferredTechnical certifications such as Network+ or similarBackground in telecom, electronics, or IT-related fieldBenefits401(k) with company matchMedical, dental, and vision insuranceCompany-paid life and AD&D insuranceEmployee assistance programPaid time off and holidaysReferral bonus program
