This position will be located in Melbourne, FL.
nNorthrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is developing cutting edge technology that seamlessly analyzes, fuses, and distributes multi-domain information into command-and-control systems of systems to support all domains of war.
nThe Principal Electronics Engineer in this role will be responsible for one or more of the following:

Integration of airborne communications systems and components to enable real-time coordination and reliable communication between ground, air, space and naval forces
n n - n
Requirements development, analysis, maturation and implementation
n n - n
Design, analyze, configure, test, document and troubleshoot communications systems
n n - n
Document designs using detailed schematics, diagrams and specifications
n n - n
Collaborate with engineers and program stakeholders to integrate Line of Sight (LOS) and Beyond Line of Sight (BLOS) subsystems to meet platform mission objectives
n n - n
Technical management of program strategic partners and suppliers, including development, acquisition, acceptance, qualification, system integration and test support
n n - n
Perform informal and formal testing of subsystem requirements
n n - n
A successful Principal Electronics Engineer has good leadership skills and understands the scope of the work and the impact of the work on other teams, consistently brings up concerns, issues and risks to program and technical leadership and holds the team to a high level of technical rigor.

Basic Qualifications:

Principal Electronics Engineer (T03): Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university AND 5 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering OR a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university AND 3 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering.

Electronics Engineer (T02): Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university AND 2 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering OR a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university AND 0 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering.

Must have an active DoD Secret clearance that is in-scope (granted or renewed within the last 6 years), and the ability to obtain Top-Secret clearance.

nPrimary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $147,600.00
nSecondary Level Salary Range: $0.00 - $0.00
nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
