Communications and Engagement Manager

To support a growing nonprofit organization, the full-time Communications and Engagement Manager will design and implement marketing and communications strategies remotely, promoting the organization's goals and initiatives while enhancing its reputation and engagement capabilities. Key responsibilities Develop and manage engaging marketing materials and campaigns for various initiatives, including membership recruitment and events Execute a media relations strategy and serve as a primary contact for media outlets to enhance organizational visibility Collaborate across teams to create dynamic content that aligns with strategic priorities and manages digital communications channels Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, graphic design, or a related field 5-7 years of progressive communications and marketing experience in a nonprofit or membership association environment Proficiency in graphic design and video editing tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite or similar software Experience with email marketing platforms and web content management skills Knowledge of the economic development field or related sectors is preferred but not required
