This role applies in-depth procurement and market knowledge to develop and execute sourcing strategies, solve complex cost and supply challenges, and support business objectives through cross-functional collaboration.This position reports to the Director, Procurement and is part of the Procurement Team located in Cincinnati, Ohio and will be an on-site role.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Independently manage assigned commodities, including supplier performance, cost, and risk managementDevelop and execute sourcing and supplier strategies aligned with operational and business objectivesIdentify and deliver cost savings initiatives while monitoring market trends and key cost driversLead and support supplier negotiations and contractual agreementsAct as a procurement resource for cross-functional partners and less-experienced colleaguesThe essential requirements of the job include:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field4-8 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, or related operations rolesDemonstrated experience managing suppliers and supporting sourcing or cost-reduction initiativesExperience leading or supporting supplier negotiations and commercial agreementsProficiency using data, KPIs, Excel, and ERP systems to support decision-makingTravel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:Ability to travel up to 10–20%, including occasional overnight domestic travel; international travel as needed.It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:Experience sourcing medical device components or assemblies.Experience applying Lean principles or structured problem-solving tools in a manufacturing environmentMammotome, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
