Responsibilities:
- Lead and perform commissioning activities, including QA/QC and Functional Performance Testing.
- Support equipment and systems start-up, testing, and verification against design requirements.
- Identify, document, and resolve system deficiencies and commissioning issues.
- Coordinate directly with clients, contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders.
- Prepare commissioning documentation, reports, test results, and closeout materials.
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent years of experience
- t least 4 years of progressive experience in third party Owner commissioning/validation activities such as: Utility infrastructure, life safety, medium and low voltage electrical power systems, low voltage systems, building/facility systems/components, and facility O&M
- Working knowledge of NFPA, NETA and NICET electrical testing and code requirements
- Understanding of the Construction and Commissioning process
- bility to understand and perform technical document reviews of NETA reports, Coordination Studies, and equipment startup forms
- Experience executing Functional Performance Testing for electrical systems
- Technical writing skills for reporting and development of testing protocols
- Industry recognized CxA commissioning certification
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years' design experience in building systems electrical design
- Experience in industrial production and manufacturing projects
- Professional engineering license
- LEED or other sustainability certification
- Basic understanding of other trade disciplines (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Client)
- Familiar with cloud-based Commissioning Software (Facility Grid)
