This is a 1-year contract assignment (W-2).
You will work on behalf of the project Owner as a Project Manager on a portfolio of renewable energy (wind, solar, battery storage). You will be responsible for execution of assigned renewable power plant projects and teams as it relates to commissioning, start up and operational turnover. You will report to the onsite Manager. Location: Remote & Travel to multiple sitesKey Responsibilities:Perform commissioning activities for assigned projects with high quality and following all safety policies.Responsible for coordination and management of, EPC contractor personnel, OEM start up personnel, third-party start up contractors, and operations personnel on site, as it relates to site commissioning and startup.Responsible for project reliability at operational turnover with plants exhibiting as little lost time in initial operation.Responsible for compliance with all project contractual documents to include Power Purchase Agreement and Large Generator Interconnect Agreement deliverables with local utilityResponsible for oversight of commissioning personnel for multiple sites to ensure contractual obligations are met for all assigned projectsProvide Subject Matter Expertise and input into team strategic planning for safety, personnel, and quality and efficiency improvementWork with project's designated safety, engineering, and quality control partiesQualifications:Electrical construction and commissioning means and methods knowledge including NEC and NFPASupervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) integration and troubleshootingE&I controls and instrumentation installation, startup and troubleshootingProtection and Controls implementation and troubleshootingInverter operation and communications startup and troubleshootingBattery Energy Storage System operation and troubleshootingDrawing review quality control inspectionManage third parties and suppliersOur Safety Pledge to You: If you are as committed to your success as we are committed to your safety, then this is the position for you!

Wectec Staffing Services offers competitive pay to all of our employees.
