Commissioning Field Manager
Location: Hybrid (U.S.-based, near major airport)
Travel: 75%-100%
Join a national owners representative delivering cutting-edge data center and infrastructure projects. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll drive commissioning on complex builds, lead field teams, and work directly with clients.
What You’ll Do
- Lead on-site commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, and controls systems
- Direct contractors and vendors; manage field teams and resources
- Act as the primary client contact on site
- Develop commissioning plans, checklists, and test scripts
- Review designs and resolve technical issues
- Track progress, manage risks, and deliver clear project reporting
What You Bring
- Strong commissioning experience across MEP systems
- Proven leadership in field execution and team coordination
- Confident client-facing communication skills
- Highly organised, self-driven, and detail-focused
- Comfortable working remotely and leveraging new technologies
Experience
- Degree in Engineering/Construction
- OR
- 10+ years of relevant hands-on commissioning experience
Travel
- Up to 75% U.S. travel
- Valid driver’s license required
