Board AppointmentThe Commission's mission shall be to ensure the recruitment and retention of a well-qualified, efficient, and effective corps of Administrative Law Judges in the Office. The Commission shall have final authority to appoint, re-appoint, discipline, and remove Administrative Law Judges.The Commission shall consist of 3 voting members. One voting member shall be appointed by the Mayor, one voting member shall be appointed by the Chairman of the Council of the District of Columbia, with the approval of a majority of the Council, and one voting member shall be appointed by the Chief Judge of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.The Commission has monthly meetings; subcommittees meet as required to complete tasks.If you are interested in an appointment to this board, please complete the appointment application.
