About This Position
The Commissary Operations Supervisor helps manage all aspects of commissary operations and services at the assigned correctional facility. You will help with several aspects of the on-site operations department, including workforce coverage, security and inventory control.
This position is located onsite within a jail/correctional facility and you will work around inmates. You will report to the Operations Manager.

About This Position

Essential Functions/Main Responsibilities
- Assist and manage training of new team members.
- Maintain working knowledge of all phases of your department operations.
- Make sure employees are working where needed and employees are staying busy.
- Assist to maintain accurate inventories of all products.
- Complete required reporting.
- Document and inform Management of all priority tasks and personnel problems.
- Report any problems, discrepancies, issues to Management promptly with written documentation.
- Help with general upkeep of all areas/equipment/products.
- Take pride in your surroundings by helping maintain a clean workspace.
- Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.
- High School Diploma or GED and/or equivalent experience. Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license.
- Familiarity with inventory management.
- Familiarity with computers.
- Requires supervisory skills.
- Define problems, and resolve them quickly.
