Commercial Vault Teller (PT)Pharr - 2nd Floor - Pharr, TX 78577OverviewPosition Type: Part Time Education Level: High SchoolDescriptionJOB SUMMARYThe Commercial Vault Teller processes commercial account, customers' deposit transactions and change order requests in accordance with established teller policies and procedures.ESSENTIAL DUTIESReceives, processes, and delivers cash shipments from/to branch locations and the Federal ReserveMonitors vault cash supply and orders cash as necessaryEnsures security and operating protocols and dual control requirements are strictly followedParticipates in job specific training and other various Bank training programs, as necessaryMaintains current knowledge of internal risk controls and loss prevention, including reporting of suspicious or unusual customer activity per Bank policyMaintains current knowledge and complies with all federal and state laws and regulations and all established Bank policies and procedures, including internal audit controls related to department operationsMaintains current knowledge of all rules, regulations, and laws as they apply to BSA/OFAC/USA Patriot Act/CIP/AMLQualificationsA self-starting individual who possesses a High School Diploma or GEDMust have at least two years previous teller experience in a financial institutionTyping, PC and 10-key calculatorsStrong communication, organizational, interpersonal skills are necessaryMust possess basic mathematical aptitudeProblem solving and decision making abilities are essentialMental concentration is necessary for handling frequent interruptions and working in a fast paced environmentPosition can be mentally and physically stressful and requires standing for much of the work dayPhysical requirements include lifting, carrying, or moving heavy boxes or bags of currency and coin weighing up to 75 pounds, and pushing a money cart weighing up to 1,000 poundsMust be able to work flexible hours Monday through Friday, and Saturday rotation (hours will fluctuate as business needs dictate)Bilingual in English and Spanish is desired
