I’m partnering with a nationally recognized public accounting firm that is looking to add an experienced Commercial Tax Director to its growing Chicago tax practice!

What you’ll be doing:
- Reviewing complex business tax returns, workpapers & tax projections
- Providing tax planning, consulting & compliance services to clients
- Managing key client relationships and overseeing the full tax return process
- Researching and resolving complex tax issues
- Working closely with Partners on client planning and strategy
- Coaching, mentoring & developing tax staff
- Supporting business development and expansion of the client base
What we’re looking for:
- 10+ years of progressive public accounting tax experience
- Strong technical background across partnerships, S-Corps & C-Corps
- Experience managing multiple client engagements and relationships
- Strong review, tax planning & consulting experience
- Proven ability to mentor and develop teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA preferred
