A well-established commercial General Contractor is looking to add an experienced Superintendent to its Charlotte team. This is a great opportunity for someone with proven ground-up K-12 school construction experience who wants a strong local pipeline, quality projects, and long-term career stability.

Responsibilities

• Lead ground-up K-12 school projects from mobilization through closeout.
• Manage daily field operations, subcontractors, scheduling, logistics, and site safety.
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, owners, architects, and trade partners.
• Maintain project schedules and ensure key milestones are achieved.
• Drive quality control and resolve field issues before they impact schedule or budget.
• Run subcontractor meetings and maintain accurate daily reporting.
• Deliver projects safely, on time, and to a high standard.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Superintendent with a commercial General Contractor .
• Strong ground-up K-12 / education construction experience required.
• Experience managing projects from sitework and foundations through turnover.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, sequencing, and scheduling.
• Confident managing subcontractors and multiple trades in the field.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Based in, or within reasonable commuting distance of, Charlotte, NC .
