Commercial Roofing Operations ManagerAllied Construction Services is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Operations Manager to lead and oversee daily roofing operations throughout Northern California. This leadership role is responsible for managing project execution, field operations, production teams, scheduling, safety compliance, budgeting, and overall operational performance.The ideal candidate is a strong leader with extensive commercial roofing experience, proven operational management skills, and the ability to drive efficiency while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily operations for commercial roofing projects across multiple job sitesManage project managers, superintendents, field crews, and subcontractorsEnsure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to company quality standardsDevelop and improve operational processes, workflows, and field efficienciesCoordinate manpower planning, scheduling, equipment, and material logisticsMonitor project performance, profitability, labor productivity, and job costingConduct regular job site visits and operational reviewsEnsure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standardsSupport estimating and pre-construction teams during project planning and turnoverBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and manufacturersAssist with recruiting, training, mentoring, and developing field and management staffResolve operational issues and provide leadership in fast-paced construction environmentsPrepare operational reports and updates for executive leadershipQualifications7+ years of commercial roofing experience with leadership or operations management responsibilitiesStrong knowledge of commercial roofing systems including TPO, PVC, EPDM, modified bitumen, coatings, and metal roofingProven experience managing multiple large-scale commercial roofing projects and teamsStrong understanding of construction operations, scheduling, budgeting, and labor managementExcellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to lead teams in fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentsExperience with project management and construction software platformsValid driver's license and ability to travel throughout Northern CaliforniaOSHA certification preferredPreferred ExperienceExperience overseeing operations for multi-crew commercial roofing companiesBackground in waterproofing and restoration projectsExperience with healthcare, education, industrial, HOA, and multi-family propertiesManufacturer certifications and industry training preferredBilingual English/Spanish is a plusWhat We OfferCompetitive salary based on experiencePerformance bonuses and leadership incentivesCompany vehicle or vehicle allowanceHealth benefitsPaid time off and holidaysCareer growth opportunities with an established companyCollaborative and team-oriented work environmentLong-term stability with a growing Northern California contractorAbout the CompanyAllied Construction Services has completed thousands of commercial roofing and waterproofing projects throughout Northern California and has built a reputation for safety, reliability, and exceptional service across the commercial construction industry.
