Managing a portfolio of existing commercial real estate banking relationships, the full-time salaried Commercial Real Estate Portfolio Manager will underwrite new loan requests and ensure adherence to credit policies and regulations while monitoring portfolio performance and risk assessment. Key responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of commercial real estate loan relationships to maintain asset quality and performance Underwrite new commercial real estate credit requests, including loan originations and modifications Monitor portfolio performance and compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory requirements Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field Minimum of five years of commercial real estate and/or commercial & industrial underwriting experience At least four years of portfolio management experience in a banking environment Strong knowledge of commercial real estate lending and credit risk management principles Experience managing a commercial real estate portfolio in the New York City metropolitan market is preferred
