Commercial Property Manager – Retail & Office Portfolio

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Property Manager to join a growing real estate team overseeing a portfolio of retail and office properties. This is a great opportunity for someone who is confident managing their responsibilities independently while also working collaboratively with an experienced executive team.

The ideal candidate has held a Commercial Property Manager title and brings direct, hands-on experience managing commercial properties. You should be comfortable interacting directly with property owners and third-party clients, understanding property financials, and taking ownership of the day-to-day performance of your portfolio.

What You’ll Do as the Commercial Property Manager

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of retail and office properties

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for property owners, clients, tenants, vendors, and contractors

  • Build strong relationships and provide responsive, professional communication

  • Prepare, review, and understand property financial reports

  • Assist with budgets, operating expenses, variance reporting, CAM reconciliations, and other property-level financial responsibilities

  • Monitor property performance, expenses, contracts, and vendor activity

  • Coordinate repairs, maintenance, capital projects, and tenant needs

  • Conduct property/site visits as needed

  • Review invoices and ensure expenses are properly allocated

  • Work independently while collaborating closely with the executive team

  • Identify issues proactively and take ownership of finding solutions

  • Support the continued growth of the portfolio and organization

What We’re Looking For in a Commercial Property Manager

  • Previous Commercial Property Manager title and direct commercial property management experience required

  • Experience managing retail and/or office properties

  • Strong understanding of commercial property financials and reporting

  • Experience working directly with owners and/or third-party management clients

  • Knowledge of budgets, CAM reconciliations, operating expenses, and variance reports

  • Strong tenant and vendor relationship skills

  • Organized, proactive, and comfortable working with limited supervision

  • Ability to prioritize multiple properties, projects, and deadlines

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • Team-oriented approach with the ability to collaborate effectively with executive leadership

The position offers a nice balance of office-based property management and site visits when needed, along with direct exposure to ownership, clients, and executive leadership.
