Commercial Litigation ParalegalAscension Global Staffing & Executive Search is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Paralegal on behalf of a prominent South Florida law firm. This role is ideal for a proactive, highly organized legal professional with a strong background in complex commercial litigation matters. The successful candidate will work closely with senior attorneys on high-stakes cases and play an integral role in case strategy and execution.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist attorneys with all phases of commercial litigation, from pre-litigation through trial and appealDraft and review pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and other legal documentsCoordinate and manage extensive document review and e-discovery processesOrganize and maintain case files, deposition transcripts, expert materials, and exhibitsConduct factual and legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other databasesPrepare and organize trial binders, exhibit lists, and witness materialsCommunicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and vendorsCalendar and track litigation deadlines, hearings, depositions, and filing requirementsAssist with trial preparation, including logistics, witness coordination, and courtroom supportQualificationsMinimum 3 + years of paralegal experience in commercial litigationBachelor's degree or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved programStrong working knowledge of Florida and federal court rules and proceduresExperience with e-discovery platforms (Relativity, Concordance, or similar)Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skillsAbility to manage complex, high-volume caseloads under tight deadlinesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management softwareSchedule & Work-Life BalanceStandard schedule: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM37.5-hour workweekNo regular overtime expected.Potential for a flexible or hybrid work arrangement after six months of employment, subject to firm policy and practice group needs.Billable Hour RequirementAnnual billable requirement: 1,600 hours.What's OfferedFull benefits: medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)Exposure to high-profile commercial casesSupportive team culture with advancement opportunities
