An established law firm based in Towson, Maryland with over 100 years in practice is seeking a Commercial Litigator with 3-10 years of experience to join its team onsite with workplace flexibility. This role will focus on construction disputes, surety matters, and general commercial litigation, representing clients from initial investigation through trial and appeal.

Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the Maryland Bar
- Admission to the District of Columbia or Virginia Bar is a plus
- 3+ years of substantive litigation experience involving commercial, construction, or surety matters
- Substantial courtroom, deposition, discovery, and motion practice experience
- Strong legal research, analytical, writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple complex matters and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- experience representing contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, or sureties is strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with senior attorneys and partners
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in construction, surety, and commercial disputes from initial investigation through trial and appeal
- Draft pleadings, dispositive and non-dispositive motions, discovery requests and responses, briefs, and legal memoranda
- Conduct and defend depositions involving parties, fact witnesses, and expert witnesses
- Manage written discovery, document review, case strategy, and litigation deadlines
