This is an excellent opportunity for a driven attorney to take on a substantive role handling complex matters within a fast-paced and dynamic litigation practice.Responsibilities:Manage a caseload of commercial litigation matters from inception through resolutionDraft pleadings, motions, discovery demands and responses, and legal memorandaConduct and defend depositions and handle court appearances in state and federal courtsManage all aspects of discovery, including document review, production, and strategyHandle arbitrations, mediations, and settlement negotiationsCommunicate directly with clients and provide strategic legal guidanceCollaborate with attorneys on case strategy, motion practice, and trial preparationPrepare for and assist with hearings and trialsSupervise junior attorneys and support staff as neededQualifications:J.D.

from an accredited law schoolAdmission to the New York State Bar (New Jersey admission is a plus)5+ years of experience in commercial litigationStrong experience with motion practice, depositions, and court appearancesExperience managing cases independently from start to finishExcellent writing, analytical, and organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentStrong interpersonal and client management skillsCompensation & Benefits:Salary range: $145,000 – $200,000, commensurate with experienceComprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), PTO, and moreLocation: Long Island, NY
