Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and legal memoranda
- Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies
- Take and defend depositions
- Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings
- Prepare witnesses, experts, and clients for trial
- Negotiate settlements and assist with dispute resolution efforts
- Communicate effectively with clients and provide strategic counsel throughout litigation matters
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active California Bar membership in good standing
- 2+ years of commercial litigation experience
- Experience handling business disputes, breach of contract claims, partnership disputes, real estate litigation, or complex commercial matters preferred
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between ($250,000 – $350,000 annually). Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
