Commercial Litigation Associate

Overview

Husch Blackwell LLP, a national law firm, is recruiting a Commercial Litigation Associate for its Phoenix office. Candidates should have four to six years of experience, an active Arizona bar license or a commitment to obtain one promptly, and will primarily work with attorneys in the Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation business unit.

Responsibilities

• Handle all phases of complex commercial litigation, including factual investigations, discovery, pleadings, depositions, motions, and mediation.
• Represent clients in state and federal court, as well as administrative matters and arbitrations.
• Provide second-chair support at trial or arbitration, if required.
• Maintain excellent client communication and develop legal strategies.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in commercial litigation.
• Active Arizona bar license or ability to obtain one promptly.
• Experience in state and federal court, administrative matters, arbitrations, and second-chair trials.
• Strong academic credentials, superior interpersonal skills, and exceptional judgment.
• Interest in transportation and supply chain issues is a plus.
• Proactive, dynamic, and entrepreneurial attitude with varied backgrounds.
