Commercial Litigation AssociateA Commercial Litigation Associate job involves assisting senior counsel in handling a variety of commercial litigation matters, including researching legal issues, drafting legal documents, conducting discovery, and preparing for and participating in hearings and trials.Responsibilities:Experience drafting briefs and motions, handling fact and expert discovery, and engaging in deposition and trial preparation.Strong interpersonal, communication, research, analysis, and writing skills, as well as a track record of academic and professional excellence.Assume significant responsibility in the management of your matters, and to take on a front-facing role with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts.Qualifications:Bar membership, active and in good standing, in the jurisdiction (Illinois) where you are practicing, is also required.To be considered, you must submit a cover letter, resume, law school transcript, and a writing sample.
