Duties
- Manage all aspects of commercial litigation from inception through trial and appeal.
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda.
- Prepare briefs, pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.
- Conduct and respond to discovery, including depositions.
- Collaborate with clients, witnesses, experts, and other counsel.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of complex litigation experience.
- Strong writing and case management skills.
- Experience handling clients and adversaries.
- Excellent oral advocacy skills.
- Deposition and court experience preferred.
- Previous law firm experience strongly preferred.
- Interest in first party insurance bad faith and financial services litigation is ideal.
- Must be licensed to practice law in California and in good standing.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications
- Licensed to practice law in the State of California.
