Our Am Law 100 client is seeking Commercial Litigation Associates to join its nationally recognized litigation practice. Opportunities are available in Denver, Miami, and Salt Lake City for attorneys who enjoy handling sophisticated business disputes from inception through trial.
This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with experienced litigators while representing businesses in high-stakes commercial disputes across state and federal courts.
Role Overview
The associate will represent clients in a wide range of complex business litigation matters and play an active role in all phases of the litigation process.
Responsibilities may include:
- Managing complex commercial and business litigation matters
- Drafting pleadings, dispositive motions, briefs, and other court filings
- Conducting legal research and developing litigation strategy
- Managing written discovery, document review, and discovery disputesTaking and defending depositions
- Preparing witnesses and assisting with trial preparation
- Appearing in state and federal court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations
- Working directly with clients to develop practical litigation solutions
This position provides meaningful responsibility and the opportunity to develop courtroom experience while working on sophisticated commercial disputes.
Candidate Profile
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
- 3-6 years of commercial or business litigation experience
- Experience handling matters in state and federal courts
- Strong background in discovery, motion practice, and legal research
- Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and other substantive filings
- Deposition and trial preparation experience preferred
- Excellent writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Strong academic credentials
- Ability to manage multiple matters in a collaborative environment
