Duties

Handle case management responsibilities across various stages of complex commercial litigation

Draft legal documents including motions, pleadings, and memoranda

Conduct legal research and analysis for ongoing litigation matters

Participate in depositions, oral arguments, and court hearings

Lead party and third-party discovery efforts

Collaborate with shareholders and legal teams on litigation strategy and case development

Engage in business development activities and client communications

Requirements

3–5 years of experience in complex commercial litigation

Strong experience with party and third-party discovery

Proven ability to draft persuasive legal writing and conduct in-depth legal research

Experience in oral arguments and depositions preferred

Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet tight deadlines

Demonstrated interest in long-term growth within a high-caliber litigation practice

Education

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Strong academic credentials required

Certifications

Active license to practice law in the state of Texas, or in the process of obtaining admission

Skills
