About the Opportunity:

A leading Am Law firm is seeking a Complex Commercial Litigation Associate with at least 3 years of commercial litigation experience to join its sophisticated litigation practice in Atlanta.

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with strong commercial litigation experience to take on substantive responsibility across complex matters. The role provides meaningful opportunities to work independently on core litigation tasks while collaborating with experienced attorneys on sophisticated disputes and trial preparation.

Responsibilities :

• Handle core commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies.
• Prepare and manage discovery.
• Handle motion practice and related court proceedings.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Assist with trial preparation and litigation strategy.
• Work independently on substantive litigation assignments.
• Collaborate with attorneys and clients on complex commercial disputes.
• Maintain strong attention to detail and effectively manage multiple matters.

Qualifications :

• At least 3 years of commercial litigation experience.
• Strong experience with core commercial litigation responsibilities.
• Ability to independently handle pleadings, legal research, discovery, motion practice, and depositions.
• Experience assisting with trial preparation.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Experience handling products liability matters is strongly preferred.
• Excellent law school credentials, including law review experience, preferred.
• Former judicial clerkship experience preferred.
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and appropriate bar admission or eligibility.

Compensation : $260,000–$320,000 annually, plus bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits
